1. What services do you offer?
We provide developmental editing, line editing, copy editing, proofreading, beta reading, and custom service packages tailored to your manuscript's needs.

2. How do I know which editing service I need?
If you're unsure, we recommend filling out the project questionnaire found under General Inquiry. We'll review your manuscript details and help guide you toward the right level of service.

3. Do you edit all genres?
We currently specialize in fiction, fantasy, young adult, coming-of-age, and children's books. If your project falls outside these categories, feel free to reach out to see if it's a good fit.

4. How do I submit my manuscript?
After confirming your service and price, you’ll be instructed to send your manuscript in an editable format (Word or Google Docs preferred). Submission details will be provided during booking.

5. What is your turnaround time?
Turnaround times vary by service and word count. Standard projects range from 2–6 weeks. A more accurate timeline will be provided once we understand the services you require.

6. Do you offer rush services?
Rush editing may be available depending on the current workload. An additional fee will apply. Please inquire during the initial quote process if you're on a deadline.

7. How do payments work?
We accept payment via Venmo. A 50% deposit is required upfront to secure your spot. The remaining balance is due upon completion and before the final files are delivered.

8. Do you offer refunds?
All deposits are non-refundable once work has begun. Final payment is required before delivery of completed work. Please refer to our Terms of Service for full details.

9. Will my manuscript be kept confidential?
Absolutely. All projects are treated with strict confidentiality and will never be shared or discussed outside of our agreement. NDAs are available upon request.

10. Can I get a sample edit?
We currently do not offer free sample edits, but if you'd like to start with a smaller section or chapter, we can quote accordingly as a trial.

11. What if I need changes after delivery?
Each editing service includes one round of minor revisions or clarifications within 7 business days. Major rewrites may require a new quote.

12. Do you leave track changes or clean edits?
Edits are typically provided with Track Changes on (for Word) so you can see every suggestion. A clean version can also be provided upon request.

13. Do you provide publishing support or formatting?
Not at this time. We focus exclusively on editing, proofreading, and reading services. However, we may be able to refer you to trusted professionals for other needs.
